Editorial policy
Fresh News Analysis aims to make news publishing easier to understand. We write with care, state what an article covers, and avoid presenting a general explanation as a claim about every newsroom or format.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable, identifiable material before publication and revise wording that overstates what the available information supports. We distinguish explanation from opinion and use examples to clarify an idea rather than imply that one case represents the whole industry.
Independence and labels
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material we accept is clearly labelled so readers can recognise its nature. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can contact us with the article and the detail that seems wrong. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers where appropriate.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. When an illustration is AI-generated, we label it accordingly; illustrative images are not presented as documentary evidence.
News is made, not merely delivered
Every format and editorial choice affects how a story reaches its audience. We make those choices easier to notice and understand.
